Didnt help that they were bad drivers but still. A few friends back in the day going for their G went there and failed miserably. Feel free to ask whoever's testing you if they'd like you to do it every time (but only after you've done it once), because sometimes it inconveniences their test route. So scan as much as possible and make it super obvious even if you feel stupid.ĭon't forget to switch lanes after turning left on whatever road you're on.my evaluator told me people often forget. My evaluator also emphasized looking both ways and scanning the road, and even after the test he told me to look around more often (especially when crossing an intersection). They'll ask you to switch lanes while on the highway too. They're really checking that you're confident on the highway, so make sure you accelerate as you enter and merge at 100! No more, no less. They didn't ask me to reverse park, but I know they do that often and I'm pretty sure the guy saw me practising anyway. They asked me to do a 3-point turn and pull over at a curb. I did mine at Canotek and it was a breeze! I only had one chance to do it because my G2 license was expired (lol don't ask.), so I think I was in a "now or never" frame of mind.
