I really appreciate the advice you guys have given me. Next time I meet up with this group I'll try to convince them to try 2 Headed Giant or EDH Archenemy. If I could go to a LGS I would, but the closest one is at least an 1 hour drive away. I live in a really small town (>500 people and we're the only people who play MtG) and I recently started going to a small college and I'm still trying to meet new friends there. Those of you who say I should leave the group I've been trying too (recently realized how idiotic and stubborn they can be).
Player3 and I have called them out for their dumb alliance reasons. Both shout Cham Cham Cham and when shouting the last Cham the winner turn their hand to left or right. Has anyone else had to deal with this kind of problem before, or am I just overreacting about nothing?ĮDIT: I noticed I forgot to add some information that would clarify my situation. All 4 of us are good friends, but these two players just carry this alliance between games.
It's gotten quite annoying that Player3 and I keep getting messed with just because their unspoken alliance. Venue: This website is powered by SportsEngines Sports Relationship Management (SRM) software. Every time Player1 gets ahead and Player2 is able to mess with Player1's board, they don't! Instead they either go at me or Player3. Target them, destroy their board piece by piece, control them down and leave player 3 alone. I recently played a couple of games with some friends of mine and realized that 2 of the players had an unspoken alliance with each other every game, even though one of them are the real threat. Both decks have ways of group controlling how the game plays out.
